TNC Pro Team are the champions of the Juicy Legends 2021 Q3

One of the new organizations to participate in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8, TNC Pro Team, acquired its first Mobile Legends championship title in the recently concluded Juicy Legends 2021 Q3. The tournament featured the top teams as well as underdog teams in the Philippine Mobile Legends esports scene, competing for the lion’s share of the PHP 220,000 ($4,362 USD) prize pool.

Recap - Semi- Finals

The first match didn’t go well in TNC’s favor as Kelra’s Alice always gets in the way during team fights, forcing them to frequently reposition. This allowed Omega Esports to take control of every team fight and gave them enough time to slowly take down TNC’s turrets and eventually its Nexus.

The second match almost looked like it was in Omega Esports’ favor. However, TNC’s careful planning and team coordination allowed them to stall out the match and secure enough objectives to flip the tide in the late game. Omega had the kill advantage but TNC’s map pressure allowed them to push turrets and forced Omega to play defensively. At the 20-minute mark, TNC had already opened up Omega’s base and secured a win.

The final deciding match was secured by TNC Pro Team. Similar to the previous matches, Omega Esports had the kill advantage. This put TNC in a bad situation which resulted in losing all of their turrets. TNC Managed to get a comeback at the 19-minute mark after securing a Lord. A crucial team fight occurred at the 20-minute mark which costed Omega to lose three of its members. TNC immediately took advantage of this and headed straight to the Nexus to secure their spot in the semifinals against ArkAngel SM.

Recap - Grand Finals

TNC Pro Team proceeded to the grand finals with its consistent lane pressure and split pushing dominance. ArkAngel SM tried to square up with TNC but they failed in securing objectives which put them in a bad spot in all three games. TNC Pro Team secured a flawless victory in the grand finals will 3 wins and zero losses.

This is definitely a good start for TNC Pro Team, considering this is the organization’s first venture into the Mobile Legends esports scene. It will be interesting to see how well they perform in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8.
