The New State Mobile lineup of Team XO might have allegedly parted ways according to statements made by Sarang and Punkk.
If true, this comes as a huge shock because the lineup won the SPS New State Mobile Open India tournament just a few days ago.
Sarang might stick with Fierce, but he did mention that they were not with Team XO any longer and a similar statement was made by Punkk as well.

The recently concluded Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) New State Mobile Open India was the biggest tournament for the title to take place in India so far. It ran for more than a month featuring a total prize pool of INR 1,00,00,000 which was split between the top 24 teams.

All competing teams stepped up and gave it their absolute best, but it was Team XO that walked away as the champion, fighting hard across both the online and LAN stages of the tournament.

Despite facing massive success, it seems that the best New State Mobile lineup in India might not be sticking together. Clear hints were dropped by players like Sarangajyoti "Sarang" Deka and Ashutosh "Punkk" Singh, members of the championship-winning Team XO roster.

New State Mobile's championship-winning Team XO roster seems to have disbanded

There is no official statement on the matter from any of the parties involved, any of the players, or the organization itself. However, certain hints have been dropped by two of the players which allegedly point towards the Team XO lineup for New State Mobile having gone south.

Sarang recently joined Team XSpark. During a recent livestream he had an interactive session with his viewers and revealed a few things about his current position and his future for esports.

Upon being questioned about why he left Team XO, Sarang revealed that he is still with the organization but things might change in the future. However, immediately thereafter while answering another viewer he said "I am only with Fierce (Ritesh Nawandar) right not but we have left XO."

If this was not enough, to make matters more confusing Sarang also mentioned that if the winners of the SPS New State Mobile Open India were invited to a global tournament, the four players from the current lineup would compete in it together but not under the banner of Team XO.

Apart from Sarang, Punkk was also a part of this championship-winning team and during Punkk's live session on Instagram he made a cryptic statement regarding the current state of the Team XO roster.

"Now, a lot of things are going to change. The entire name and all is going to change," said Punkk, "Not the name but the [team] initials before the name, those are going to change."

For now, these two players have made quite the statements about the current Team XO lineup allegedly getting disbanded. However, do take all this with a pinch of salt as nothing official has come forward at the time of writing this article.
