Team Secret set to compete for MPL MY Season 11 championship title
One of the biggest esports organizations in the world, Team Secret, is confirmed to venture into the MLBB esports scene. This was revealed through a post from the official Facebook page of MPL Malaysia.
The CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the esports organization previously made a social media post asking its fans if he should build an MLBB team. In a separate post on 16th February, the esports organization captioned “Team Rahsia enters MLBB?” hinting that it may be revealing its roster soon.
Team Secret is no stranger to the mobile esports scene. It previously had a League of Legends: Wild Rift team composed of veteran Filipino talents. The squad was able to find success in local tournaments such as the Philippines Pro Gaming League 2021 and finished second place in the Wild Rift Southeast Asia (SEA) Championship 2021.
The squad was also able to compete in the Horizon Cup 2023, the first off-season world series tournament for Wild Rift. However, the the team only finished third place. Team Secret continued to perform poorly in subsequent tournaments before its Wild Rift roster was eventually disbanded on November 2022.
It will be interesting to see if Team Secret will be able to shock fans in the upcoming MPL MY Season 11.
