Team Secret officially announced that it has released it's entire Wild Rift Roster.
Team Secret did not reveal if it will return in the Wild Rift esports scene with a new roster or not.
The Team Secret squad comprised Azar, Trebor, Tatsurii, Chewy, and Hamezz.

In a surprising turn of events, one of the fan-favourite League of Legends: Wild Rift teams, Team Secret, announced that it has let go of its roster. The esports organization announced the departure of its roster but did not reveal whether it shall return someday with a fresh new squad. Team Secret was one of the pioneers of Wild Rift esports and competed in various tournaments such as the Philippines Pro Gaming League (PPGL) 2021, Southeast Asia (SEA) Icon Series Championship 2021, Horizon Cup 2021, and many more. Team Secret had a disappointing Wild Rift esports journey this year which may be the reason for the team’s disbandment.

Team Secret bid farewell to its Wild Rift squad

Through a Facebook post, Team Secret announced the release of its Wild Rift roster.

“It's a tough decision to make but we have decided to bid farewell to our Wild Rift Squad,” the post captioned. “Thank you to all of the fans who never stopped believing in the boys. We wish nothing but the best to our players. ”

The team was formed after the Team Secret Scouting Grounds tournament and it debuted with a surprising performance in local Wild Rift esports events in the Philippines. The team eventually earned its ticket to the pre-season world series event Horizon Cup 2021 and finished in third place.

The team comprised the following members:

  • Eleazar "Azar" Salle

  • Robert "Trebor" Mansilungan

  • Heri "Tatsurii" Garcia

  • Caster "Chewy" Dela Cruz

  • James "Hamezz" Santos

Team Secret Wild Rift had an amazing debut run but couldn’t maintain  its momentum heading into 2022. Its team captain Hamezz had announced that he was  taking a brief hiatus due to personal reasons. The iconic team captain eventually returned as a coach for the Snapdragon Pro Series 2022 but Team Secret only finished in sixth place in the tournament.

The team tried one last time in the Huya The Legend Cup 2022 where it had a disappointing run, finishing in just 10th place.

The team barely had any roster changes. Jordan "Raux" Pamintuan and Morris "Code" Raymundo were the members that  were recently released before the team officially disbanded.

It will be interesting to see which teams will acquire Team Secret’s former squad.
