Team Max is yet to officially unveil who is the person in its teaser post.

One of Cambodia’s seasoned Mobile Legends: Bang Bang squads, Team Max, announced a teaser, hinting at the possibility of a new member. The teaser, shrouded in intrigue, showcases a silhouette that has set the fan community abuzz with speculation, pointing fingers toward the potential recruitment of a Filipino coach associated with a recently crowned championship team. Team Max is yet to officially reveal the name of its new member from the teaser post. There is also the possibility that the new member may also be just a loaned talent. The strategic loaning of professional players and coaches has become a hallmark, allowing these talents to make impactful contributions for a few tournaments before seamlessly returning to their original teams.

Team Max hints at possibly a new member for its MLBB roster

Through a Fecebook post, Team Max posted a teaser for a new member joining its Mobile Legends roster.

In the wake of Team Max's revelation, a multitude of enthusiastic fans flocked the post, igniting a lively discourse surrounding the identity of this mysterious newcomer. A prevailing speculation echoes, suggesting that the figure might be none other than Vrendon "Vren" Pesebre, one of the esteemed coaches of APA.Bren.

The silhouette on Team Max’s teaser post is also highly similar to one of Coach Vrens’s images where he is holding an MPL (Mobile Legends Professional League) trophy.  This caused a considerable portion of the fan base to gravitate towards the theory that the newcomer is, indeed, Coach Vren himself.

However, considering that AP.Bren has just won its second M5 World Championship, it is less likely that the esports organization would release one of its key members. This means it may be another case of a loaned talent.

Team Max boasts a track record of strategic acquisitions. In the previous year, the squad welcomed two iconic Filipino figures from Omega Esports, namely EXP Laner Renz "Renzio" Cadua and Coach Jomie "P4kbet" Abalos. This dynamic infusion of talent propelled Team Max to a commendable 4th place finish in the MPL Cambodia Autumn 2023.

Team Max is yet to officially name the person in its Facebook post. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.

Update: 11th January

Team Max revealed that the post was about coach P4kbet and Renzio staying on the team.
