The ongoing Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) New State Mobile Open India is well underway and is about to kick off its third phase with the Challenger Stage, scheduled to start from 5th January onwards.

Finally, the stage has been set to witness a clash between the invited and qualified teams, as 32 competitors go against each other but only the top 24 will be making it through to the Challenger Finals.

SPS New State Mobile Open India Challenger Stage: Complete Details

ESL India in collaboration with NODWIN Gaming is organizing this New State Mobile tournament in India, which is the biggest in terms of the total prize pool (INR 1,00,00,000) and the size of the competition.

The event kicked off as a grassroots-level tournament but has transitioned into a top-tier competition, building up the excitement through some high octane action.

Invited and Qualified Teams

A total of 32 teams will be competing as part of the Challenger Stage, 16 directly invited teams and 16 that have qualified through the Open Qualifier.

Only the top 24 teams will be moving ahead to the next stage of the tournament, Challenger Finals, which is set to take place in an offline setup.

Note: Pusher Esports has been disqualified and replaced by Team Zero Gravity.

Schedule and Results

The Challenger Stage will be taking place from 5th to 15th January with all 32 teams taking on each other across eight match days.

On every match day five games will be played, resulting in a total 40 games and the map order will be as follows,

  1. Erangel - 17:00 (IST)

  2. Troi - 17:50 (IST)

  3. Erangel - 18:40 (IST)

  4. Troi - 19:30 (IST)

  5. Erangel - 20:20 (IST)

Overall Results

Format

  • 16 invited teams will be taking on 16 qualified teams in this stage of the tournament across a total of eight match days.

  • The 32 teams have been divided into four groups of eight teams each, engaging in a round-robin format where five matches are played on every single match day.

  • An overall scoreboard will keep track of all the matches and the top 24 teams will move ahead to the next stage of the tournament, SPS New State Mobile Open India Challenger Finals.

Prize Pool

The tournament carries an overall total prize pool of INR 1,00,00,000 which roughly translates to about $120,927 USD.

However, this only comes into effect from the next stage onwards. The SPS New State Mobile Open India Challenger Finals shall distribute the prize pool between the top 24 teams on the basis of their final placement.

The tournament will be broadcasted live on ESL India along with NODWIN Gaming across multiple streaming platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Loco in Hindi.
