Skyesports Champions Series 2023 BGMI Semifinals: Teams, Format, Schedule, More

The return of BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) has resulted in multiple tournaments being organized across India and one of the biggest among them has been the Skyesports Championship Series 2023 BGMI, scheduled to take place from 7^th to 18^th June.

It features a massive total prize pool of INR 25,00,000 which is roughly $30,337 USD. The quarterfinal stage of the tournament has already concluded through which six teams have qualified for the next stage, joining 18 other directly invited teams for a chance to walk away as the champions.

The tournament has already begun with six teams qualifying through the first stage into the semifinals which will be starting today onwards with 24 participants.

Teams

A total of 24 teams will be competing in the semifinals stage of the tournament, 18 directly invited teams and six making their way through the quarterfinals.

Results and Schedule

This is the second stage of the tournament and will be taking place from 9^th to 13^th June. The top 16 teams from the semifinals will proceed ahead to the finals.

Overall Results - Quarterfinals

Format

• All the 24 teams, 18 invited and six qualified, will take on each other across five match days.

• These participants have been divided into three groups of eight teams each, every group following a round-robin format.

• Every group will play four matches on each day of the quarterfinals, which means every team will play a total of 20 matches in this stage.

• At the end of all five match days, based on the overall points table, the top 16 teams will qualify to the third and final stage, finals.

Livestream

The tournament will be livestreamed across YouTube and Loco in the Hindi language. However, over on YouTube only the first few matches on each match day will be broadcasted live, the entire event being exclusively streamed on Loco.
