Sc0utOP: “BGMI’s comeback before December seems dicey”
Since the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)’s removal from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, many streamers and content creators have claimed that the game will relaunch before December 2022.. However, at least one streamer is not too optimistic of the game being unbanned before the end of the year. Tanmay “Sc0utOP” Singh recently stated that the chances of the game returning before December seemed “dicey.”
Sc0utOP talks about BGMI's unban on his livestream
In a recent livestream on his YouTube channel, a viewer asked Sc0utOP about BGMI’s potential unban timeline. He replied that he can simply lie and tell his fans that the game will be unbanned tomorrow or after a month to create fake hype, but that he would not do so, because he himself does not know when the game will be unbanned.
Following this, he told his fans that the chances of the game being relaunched before December seemed dicey to him.
“If I want to, I can tell you that the game is going to unban tomorrow, or it is going to be unbanned after a month, and create hype. People will frequently come and check whether Sc0utOP said anything regarding BGMI’s return,” said Sc0utOP. “But I won’t do that, because I don’t know for sure when the game is coming back.”
Furthermore, he added, “According to the updates that I have received from other people, I think the game’s return scene is a little dicey. The plan that the game would launch before December seems a little dicey at the moment. But hopefully, it should come before December. Let’s see what happens.”
As of 23rd September 2022, BGMI is still unavailable on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. The gamers, streamers, and content creators are having mixed feelings regarding the game’s return. Rushindra Sinha, founder, and CEO of Global Esports, recently tweeted that he believes that the game might not come back. On the other hand, a lot of other creators and streamers believe that the game will come back before December.
However, neither Krafton nor Google or Apple have released any official statements about the game. The game’s return still looks questionable considering the circumstances and allegations that immediately followed upon its ban.
