According to a vlog post from the team’s coach Neil “Midnight” De Guzman, the team roster will receive slight changes with Sanford taking the EXP Lane role to replace Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcarse, who has decided to take a break. Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara, considered the “god of Gold Lane“ in the MPL PH Season 8, will also be on the main roster. A new player named Kaizen will also debut in the upcoming MPLI 2021. Midnight confirms that Sanford will be playing in the MPLI 2021

After a fourth-place finish in the MPL PH Season 8, Nexplay EVOS faces yet another challenge which is the MPLI 2021. The tournament will kick off on 2nd Nov 2021 and will feature the top MPL teams from all over the Southeast Asian Region (SEA).

Midnight revealed through a vlog that fans can stop nagging him about drafting Sanford in the upcoming tournament as the team has decided to put the star rookie in the main roster for the upcoming MPLI 2021.

“To those who messaged me, leave me alone, Hesa and Sanford will both be playing,” stated Midnight.

Despite being one of the fan-favorites, Sanford only appeared once throughout the MPL PH Season 8. The rookie played on the last day of the regular season during a match between Nexplay EVOS and Omega Esports where he impressed everyone with his skills and overwhelming presence in the match.

Team roster for Nexplay EVOS in the upcoming MPLI 2021

Midnight also revealed in his vlog that there will be slight changes to the team’s roster. According to the coach, RENEJAY will be taking a break and will miss out on the MPLI 2021.

He also confirmed that only six players are allowed to be fielded per team in the upcoming tournament. This means Nexplay EVOS will have to choose wisely with regards to who they will be bringing into the upcoming regional event.

“So the lineup we registered is H2wo, Hesa, Sanford, Haze, and Yawi” stated Midnight.

Midnight also revealed that the sixth player will be the team’s Jungler, Kaizen, who was a member of the Mobile Legends team RBC. However, the coach is yet to reveal more details regarding the new player.

“So, Kaizen will be our jungler, and I’m happy for Kaizen because he is a very skilled player, and everyone at Nexplay EVOS wants to team up with him” stated Midnight.

According to Midnight, this will be the team roster of Nexplay EVOS for the MPLI 2021:
