RSG PH Welcomes Light to its Mobile Legends Roster
RSG PH announced its acquisition of the former TNC Pro Team member Dylan "Light" Catipon for its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (ML) roster. The pro player will serve as the team’s Roamer in its upcoming ML esports events. The pro player showed promise as a member of the underdog team Work Auster Force before it was acquired by TNC Pro Team. However, the team shortly released Light after a lackluster performance in the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8 where it finished in eighth place during the regular season.
Light joins RSG PH’s Mobile Legends roster
The Singaporean-based organization announced its new addition on 12 Jan, revealing that the former TNC Pro Team ML member will serve as the team’s new Roamer.
Light has also played for Work Auster Force in the past and has showcased impressive strategical brilliance during his stint with the team at MPL PH Season 7. While the team was not able to secure a championship title, it did grab the attention of the ML community. The team was then acquired by TNC Pro Team for MPL PH Season 8. The team had a good start to the season, taking the championship title in the Juicy Legends 2021 Q3. However, the team had a disappointing performance during the MPL PH Season 8 and was not able to secure a playoff spot.
Shortly after Season 8 concluded, Light was then released from the team following which RSG PH soon acquired him as its new Roamer.
recognized as one of the more formidable Mobile Legends teams in the Philippines thanks to the guidance of its head coach Brian “Panda” Lim. The team was able to secure a spot in the playoffs stage of the MPL PH Season 8. However, it was quickly eliminated on the first day by Nexplay EVOS losing 3-0.
