Bren Esports is looking to redeem itself in the upcoming MPL season with an updated team roster. The roster reveal was announced on the official social media handles of the esports organization in a post captioned,

“The long wait is over. Our MLBB squad has arrived!”

The team is composed of the following members;

  • Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel

  • Allan "Lusty" Castromayor

  • David "Flaptzy" Canon

  • Muj “Lord Malik” Malik

  • Marco “Super Marco” Stephen

  • Kenneth “Saxa” Fedelin

  • Vincent “Joy Boy” De Guzman

  • Stowm

  • Jowm

  • Pandora

Among the six new additions, Saxsa, Joy Boy, and Super Marco are well known for their performance under the ArkAngel squad while the three rookies Stowm, Jowm, and Pandora are fresh faces looking to prove themselves in the upcoming MPL season under the Bren Esports banner.

The organization previously released one of its core players Karl "Karltzy" Nepomuceno who is now a member of the ECHO lineup followed by Raven “L3bron” Alonzo and Ejhay "Ejhay" Sambrano.

While still a member of Bren Esports, veteran player Cartilo "Ribo" Jagdon has also announced that he will go on a brief hiatus and will miss out on the MPL PH Season 9. Mico “Coco” Sampang, on the other hand, is benched for this season to give way to the new members.

Bren Esports has won numerous championship titles such as the MPL PH Season 6 and the M2 World Championships. However, the team has been disappointing with poor performances in recent tournaments. It wasn’t able to defend its title in MPL PH Season 7 and had a disappointing performance during MPL PH Season 8 where they finished 7th place in the regular season.

With its updated team roster, it will be interesting to see if Bren Esports will be able to redeem itself in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.
