RSG PH announced its acquisition of another former TNC Pro Team member Clarense "Kousei" Camilo for its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) roster. The pro player will serve as the team’s gold laner in its upcoming Mobile Legends esports events. Kousei will be replacing the team’s former gold laner Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog who is currently under hiatus. The pro player showed promise as a member of the underdog team Work Auster Force before it was acquired by TNC Pro Team. However, the team shortly released a few of its members including Kousei after a disappointing run in the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8 where it finished in eighth place during the regular season.

A new start for the promising gold laner

Alongside the former TNC Pro Team member Dylan "Light" Catipon, RSG PH has announced the arrival of Kousei through its official social media handles on 13th Jan 2022.

Kousei is known for his calm yet intimidating demeanour. As a former member of the MPL PH Season 7 underdogs team, he specializes in heroes such as Alice, Harith, and Esmeralda. His team was eventually acquired by TNC Pro Team in July 2021. The team had a good start to the season, taking the championship title in the Juicy Legends 2021 Q3. However, the team failed to impress fans during the MPL PH Season 8 after finishing the regular season with only four wins and 10 losses.

Shortly after the tournament ended, the team released head coach Laurence “Lift” Ruiz, followed by the pro players Dylan “Light” Catipon, Clarense Kousei Guzman, Patrick “P-GOD” Ibarra, Douglas "ImbaDeejay" Astibe, and Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico. Following this, RSG PH acquired Kousei and Light for its main roster for the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.

Known for its well-coordinated strategies and fully utilizing its team roster, RSG PH is recognized as one of the more formidable Mobile Legends teams in the Philippines thanks to the guidance of its head coach Brian “Panda” Lim. The team eventually earned the title of underdogs after showcasing an impressive performance during the MPL PH Season 8 and the MPL Invitational 2021.

With Kousei joining the team roster, it will be interesting to see if RSG PH grabs the championship title in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.
