Singapore-based organization, RSG (Popularly known as Resurgence) has officially announced its entry into the Philippines esports scene through a social media post on 9th July 2021. RSG is one of the biggest esports organizations in Singapore with teams from various esports titles such as PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. No specific esports titles or pro players were mentioned in the announcement. However, it is rumored that one of the pro players who will be representing RSG in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8 may be former Omega Esports pro player EJ “Heath” Esperanza. RSG Announced its Entry in the Philippines Esports Scene
After various reports of RSG trying to make its way into the esports scene in the Philippines, the organization has officially announced its entry through a social media post. The Singapore-based organization is yet to announce what esports titles they will be participating in. However, they are most likely participating in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8 with former Omega Esports member EJ “Heath” Esperanza as one of their players, according to sources cited by Tiebreaker Times.
RSG is allegedly one of the teams who have secured a slot in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8 alongside Blacklist International, Bren Esports, Omega Esports, Nexplay EVOS, Work Auster Force, and the Aura PH, ONIC PH.

RSG currently holds two Mobile Legends teams in Singapore and Malaysia. Their Malaysian team recently won the MPL MY Season 7. On the other hand, their Singapore team settled for 2nd place in the MPL SG Season 1. The Philippines will be their third Mobile Legends team once their roster has been officially announced.
With the big changes in the MPL PH Season 8, foreign teams are now vying to secure a spot in the tournament in hopes of making history in the MLBB Esports Scene in the Philippines. It will be interesting to see how well RSG’s esports teams will perform inside the PH Esports Ecosystem.
