Rex Regum Qeon, widely known as RRQ, officially announced a new member to its Philippines (PH) League of Legends (LoL): Wild Rift roster named Keith "DevilJ" Janold Gonzales. The announcement was made through the official social media handles of RRQ PH, revealing that the pro player will serve as the team’s sixth man and play as its Baron Laner. DevilJ is a former member of DR Esports, who recently released all of its teams from various esports titles. RRQ PH will be participating in the upcoming Wild Rift Champions Southeast Asia - PH qualifiers for a chance to book a spot in the upcoming world championship.

RRQ PH is vying for a spot at the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022

The Indonesia-based esports organization, RRQ, signs a new Baron Laner for its PH Wild Rift team, as revealed by the organization on 19th January.

Here are the currently active members of RRQ PH’s Wild Rift roster;

  • Sean “Hide” Baguino - Baron Lane

  • Charles “Chaazz” Roman Esguerra - Jungle

  • Sean Khierby “Helios” Miranda Palisoc - Mid Lane

  • Eric "Exosen" Allen Gubatan - Mid Lane

  • Marc “Marky” Ilagan - Dragon Lane

  • Mark Jentry “Maze” Peñafuerte Galang - Support

  • Keith "DevilJ" Janold Gonzales - 6th Man/ Baron Lane

DevilJ is a former member of one of the fan-favorite PH Wild Rift teams, DR Esports. He served as the team’s Baron Laner since 31st May 2021 until the organization eventually disbanded all of its teams from various esports titles on 7th Jan 2022, which included its Wild Rift squad. DR Esports did not reveal the reason for it disbanding all of its esports teams.

During DevilJ’s stint with DR Esports, the team had a decent esports run and even finished first place during the Philippines Pro Gaming League (PPGL) 2021 Fall Split: Group D. However, the team got eliminated during the playoffs stage after a 0-2 upset against FENNEL Adversity.

DevilJ will now continue his esports journey under RRQ PH. The pro player will bring his experience from DR Esports and help RRQ PH clutch a ticket to the upcoming Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.
