The Wild Rift Patch 3.0 Update has been revealed.
The patch update features the new champion named Sett and also brings with it the return of the fan-favorite game mode, Ultra Rapid Fire (URF).
New events and skins will also be arriving soon within the Wild Rift Patch 3.0 update, themed around the Lunar New Year.

The League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 3.0 full notes and updates have been revealed by Riot Games. The patch update features the new champion named Sett and also brings with it the return of the fan-favorite game mode, Ultra Rapid Fire (URF). New events and skins will also be arriving soon within the Wild Rift Patch 3.0 update themed around the Lunar New Year. A few balance changes for champions, runes, and in-game items will also be implemented. The new content will be added separately throughout the month of January. Wild Rift Patch 3.0: New Content

New Champion: Sett, the Boss

New Champion Sett

Having climbed through the ranks of local combatants, Sett has muscled to the top, reigning over the pits he once fought in. Sett is a very durable fighter champion capable of trading blows with any challenger with his mix of offensive and defensive capabilities.

Sett will be released on 26th Jan at 12:00 am (UTC).

New Wild Pass Season

Hexplorer Galio Skin Preview

The new Wild Pass will feature the exclusive skin Hexplorer Galio. This will also be the last Wild Pass that will feature the Hexplorer theme.

The new Wild Pass will be released on 19th Jan at 12:00 am (UTC).

New Feature

Guild vs. Guild (GvG) Season 2: Ionia

The next season of the GvG will be set in the outskirts of Ionia. Along with the new theme, the trophy points system has been adjusted to make it easier to earn.

  • 3 group community missions → 2 group community missions

  • 1 solo accessible community mission → 2 solo accessible community missions

  • Trophy Track levels 1-25 lowered by 25%

The second season of the GvG in Wild Rift will be released on 24th Jan at 12:00 am (UTC).

New Map: Lunar New Year

New Lunar New Year Map

To celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, the in-game map will have a slight makeover to fit with the celebration.

Voice Chat

The developers are bringing back a test version of voice chat. If issues arise, the feature will be taken back into the lab before being deployed worldwide. The testing will start off in the Americas, with other regions to follow.

Gifting Changes

A few changes have been implemented related to how gifting works to fraudulent purchases.

  • Daily Gifting Cap: 5 per day → 2 per day

  • Friend Requirement: 72 hours being friends → 2 weeks being friends

New Game Mode: URF

One of the most iconic game modes is returning with Wild Rift Patch 3.0. More information will be revealed at a later date.

Another mind-boggling session of “Name that Champion!” will be released on 20th January. Guess who is the champion behind the silhouette to earn rewards.

More information regarding the event will be revealed at a later date. The event will start on 26th January.

Wild Rift Patch 3.0: Champion Changes

Dr. Mundo receives a slight nerf.

Dr. Mundo

A slight nerf to Dr. Mundo’s health regeneration.

Base Stats

  • Base health regeneration: 12 → 9

  • Health regeneration per level: 0.81 → 0.68

Ezreal

To help Ezreal have stable viability in the meta, his casting capabilities are enhanced.

Mystic Shot

  • AD ratio: 110% → 120%

Jax

A rebalance to prevent him from clearing jungle camps too fast while also helping Jax survive in solo lanes.

Base Stats

  • Base health regeneration: 9 → 12

  • Health regeneration growth: 0.55 → 0.81

Relentless Assault

  • Attack Speed per stack: 2.4%+ level × 0.6% → 3/5.5/8/10.5% (at levels 1/5/9/13)

Kayle

A nerf to her late-game power.

Base Stats

  • Health per level: 105 → 95

Divine Ascent

  • Wave damage: 15/20/25/30 + 20% AP → 12/16/20/24 + 15% AP

Starfire Spellblade

  • Passive damage: 15/20/25/30 + 20% AP → 12/16/20/24 + 15% AP

Miss Fortune

A slight rollback on her bonus movement speed.

Strut

  • Bonus movement speed gained over time: 45/55/65/75 → 35/45/55/65

  • Total bonus movement speed: 70/80/90/100 → 60/70/80/90

Morgana

A much-needed bug fix and a slight buff to her jungle clearing speed.

Dark Binding

  • [BUGFIX] Fixed a bug where the root duration of Dark Binding was not reduced by tenacity.

Tormented Shadow

  • Damage to monsters: 150% → 200%

Riven

A small buff to allow her to sustain in her lane.

Base Stats

  • Base health regeneration: 7.5 → 9

  • Health regeneration per level: 0.55 → 0.68

Tryndamere

Removed a mechanic on one of his abilities to prevent him from clearing camps too fast.

Spinning Slash

  • Critical strikes reduce the cooldown of Spinning Slash by 1s, doubled against champions → Critical strikes against minions reduce the cooldown of Spinning Slash by 1s, doubled against champions

Essence Reaver

  • Attack Damage: 40 → 45

  • Mana restore per attack: 2% missing mana → 3% missing mana

  • Refund cooldown for heals and shields: 5s → 3s

Rune Changes

Domination: Brutal

  • Seven (7) bonus attack damage and 2% bonus armor penetration, or 14 ability power and 2% bonus magic penetration (adaptive) → Gain 7 bonus attack damage or 14 ability power (adaptive)

Jungle Changes

Jungle Monsters

  • Monsters that level up while in combat no longer gain current health from the level up

Extra Bits

  • Added a new set of login rewards for new players

  • For tournament organizers, added the ability to surrender custom games at 0:00 to fix any draft or lobby issues

  • Added in the ability to hide the timeline

Free-To-Play Champion Rotation

  • Jan. 20 - Jan. 26: Akali, Evelynn, Morgana, Pantheon, Rakan, Rammus, Vayne, Veigar, Wukong, Xayah

  • Jan. 27 - Feb. 2: Alistar, Corki, Jayce, Katarina, Kennen, Nunu & Willump, Orianna, Rengar, Senna, Varus
