Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) Philippines (PH) announced the acquisition of Team Secret’s iconic League of Legends: Wild Rift mid laner Heri "Tatsurii" Garcia. The pro player is recognized as one of the pioneers of Wild Rift esports in the Philippines and has experienced playing on the world stage during the Horizon Cup 2021, the first off-season world series event for the mobile MOBA title. Team Secret previously disbanded its roster following its lackluster performance in recent Wild Rift esports tournaments. Following RRQ PH’s release of its veteran dragon laner Sean "Hide" Baguino, the team acquired Tatsurii to fortify its roster for future esports events.

RRQ PH acquires iconic mid laner Tatsurii for Wild Rift roster

When Team Secret announced the disbandment of its Wild Rift roster, fans were curious to see where its pro players would land up in their journey in the esports scene. RRQ PH’s recent Facebook post revealed that Tatsuriii will be joining its squad in future Wild Rift competitions.

The esports organization also revealed that its staple Mid laner Sean "Helios" Palisoc shall be shifting to playing as the Baron laner.

“RRQ Tatsurii will play the role of midlaner for our Wild Rift team. While RRQ Helios will be the Baron laner of the team,“ captioned RRQ PH.

With  Tatsurii joining the squad, the full roster is composed of the following members:

  • Charles "Chaazz" Esguerra - Jungle

  • Sean "Helios" Palisoc - Baron Lane

  • Eric "Exosen" Gubatan - Mid Lane

  • Marc "Marky" Ilagan - Dragon Lane

  • John "V1PER" Trillo - Dragon Lane

  • Heri "Tatsurii" Garcia - Mid Lane

For now, RRQ PH is missing a support player on its roster. However, considering how Helios was shifted to another role, it will be interesting to see if the squad will have its players shift to other roles in the future. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates about RRQ PH’s roster for next year’s Wild Rift esports.
