The Indonesian team with the biggest fanbase, RRQ Hoshi announced huge changes to its roster. The esports organization revealed that it has rebranded its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team name to only RRQ which means Rex Regum Qeon, dropping the word “Hoshi.” The squad also revealed its roster for the upcoming MLBB Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) Season 11 featuring an iconic pro player from Bigetron Alpha. One of the veteran pro players in RRQ, Rivaldi "R7" Fatah, will also be skipping the upcoming season to focus on his health condition, as revealed in one of the team’s YouTube videos.

RRQ announced MPL ID Season 11 roster

One of the powerhouse teams in Indonesia, RRQ, announced its full roster through a video posted on 25th January.

The roster is composed of the following members;

  • Andre "Banana" Putra

  • Albert "Alberttt" Iskandar

  • Deden "Clayyy" Nurhasan

  • Schevenko "Skylar" Tendean

  • Calvin "VYN"

  • Muhammad "Lemon" Ikhsan

  • Deven "RENBO" Markos

  • Michael "Arcadia" Bocado

  • Petra "Fiel" Giovanni

Renbo is the latest addition to the squad. The pro player has been playing under Bigetron Alpha since MPL ID Season 6 before joining the renowned King of Kings (the English translation of the word “Rex Regum”). Renbo is one of the few pro players who specializes in multiple roles similar to Lemon and the Filipino player Carlito "Ribo" Jr.

Arcadia will serve as the head coach of RRQ with Fiel assisting the Filipino coach. One of its iconic coaches and analyst, Adi "Acil" Asyauri will not be joining the squad in the upcoming MPL ID Season 11 as announced in a YouTube video posted on 23rd January.

RRQ has been one of the top-performing teams in Indonesia, earning various championship titles such as the MPL ID Season 2, 5, 6, and 9. Despite a solid track record of victories in regional leagues, the team is yet to conquer and win any of the MLBB world series events.

With a new name and a revamped roster, it will be interesting to see if RRQ Hoshi can maintain its dominant status in the MLBB esports scene.
