Coach Arcadia is a Filipino coach who previouly led teams such as AURA PH and ECHO.

Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) officially announced the departure of its iconic Filipino coach Michael Angelo "Arcadia" Bocado from its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) roster. Before joining the Indonesian team, the coach was known for leading various teams from the Philippines like Sunsparks, AURA, and ECHO. Coach Arcadia helped RRQ gain momentum to secure a second-place finish in the MLBB Professional League Indonesia (MPL ID) Season 10 and a solid third-place finish in the M4 World Championship. The iconic coach previously announced that he is taking a break during the mid-season of the Indonesian league. However, it was not until April 2023 that RRQ officially announced the release of its Filipino coach.

Coach Arcadia shares emotional farewell video for RRQ and fans

After its big resurgence back in Season 10, RRQ fell short in Season 11 and only finished in fourth place. As its seasoned veteran Rivaldi "R7" Fatah revealed, the team may be looking to completely overhaul its roster in preparation for the next season.

Through a YouTube video, RRQ announced that it parted ways with its Filipino coach Arcadia. The coach left a heartfelt message for the team and the fans who supported him throughout his journey with the Indonesian squad.

"I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey during my time with RRQ. To my team Alberttt, VYN, Lemon, Skylar, Clayyy, RENBO, Banana, Fiel, Xoxo, and Bram, I already said my messages to each of you, so never forget this," stated Coach Arcadia.

He added that he would look back on the fun memories he had with the squad with a smile.

“I just want to say, I'll miss our bonding moments, our movie and karaoke nights, also I will never forget the happy memories that we had on our Thailand break," the coach said.

Coach Arcadia also thanked the staff behind the RRQ banner for allowing him to lead the Indonesian squad.

"To our bosses, Sir Calvin, Pak AP, and Pak Boss (Riki), thank you for your trust in me and for believing in my capabilities. I know that we could've achieved better together but sometimes life just happens, but it has been a great honor, working with you all," he said.

The iconic coach also acknowledged the fans and the Indonesian league for welcoming Filipino imports and giving them a new platform to showcase their skills.

"To all of the MPL Indonesia staff, casters, etc., thank you for welcoming us Filipino imports, thank you for making us feel at home,“ Coach Arcadia stated. “And last but not the least, thank you to RRQ Kingdom. Thank you because all of you were always there for me during the ups and downs of my journey.”

Will Coach Arcadia join a PH team soon?

When RRQ announced that Coach Arcadia was taking a break in the mid-season of the MPL ID Season 11, the coach flew back to the Philippines where he was seen attending one of ECHO’s MPL PH matches. The Killer Orcas was one of the teams he led before he joined an Indonesian team.

There is also the possibility of Coach Arcadia transferring to RRQ's PH MLBB team which is currently being built.

It will be interesting to see if Coach Arcadia continues his coaching career under a PH team, possibly, back to ECHO’s world champion lineup.
