Day 1 of Red Bull Mobile Esports Open (MEO) Season 6 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Finals has concluded. The seasoned squad of Orangutan dominated Day 1 of the event whereas Celsius Esports, an upcoming team also put forth good fights against experienced squads. Few experienced teams like Godlike Esports and Team X Spark had average performances.

Red Bull MEO Season 6 BGMI Finals Day 1 Match Summary

  • Erangel: Revenant Esports secured the chicken dinner after an intense battle with Enigma Gaming in the final circle. Harshit “MJ” Mahajan was the star performer for Revenant Esports as he secured 5 finishes. Team Tactical and Celsius Esports had a good match as they secured 16 points each. Enigma Gaming scored 14 points from the match of which 12 were placement points. Team Infinity and Medal Esports grabbed 12 and 10 points respectively. 

  • Miramar: Team Soul grabbed a 26 point chicken dinner on the map of Miramar. Neyo “Neyo” from Team Soul was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match as he secured 7 finishes. Medal Esports showed good rotations and secured 18 points whereas Orangutan was able to grab 17 points. Revenant Esport, Aslaa Esports and Loose Ends faced early elimination with 1 point each. 

  • Erangel: Orangutan secured its first chicken dinner of the day with 24 points. Gladiators Esports did not have to rotate as the safe zone centered around their drop location which meant it secured 17 points. Aslaa Esports made a comeback and grabbed 13 points. 

  • Sanhok: Celsius Esports grabbed a much important chicken dinner with 26 points. Venom from Celsius Esports was the MVP of the match as he secured 7 solo finishes. Orangutan continued its momentum and secured 25 points. Big Brother Esports made a comeback and got 12 points whereas Enigma Gaming and Gladiators Esports grabbed 10 points each. Godlike Esports, Team Soul, Gods Reign and Loose Ends suffered early elimination with 1 point each.

  • Erangel: Enigma Gaming secured a chicken dinner with 22 points in the last match of the day. Loose Ends showed good teamwork and was able to make a comeback and secure 22 points from the match. Orangutan and Celsius Esports were able to grab 18 and 14 points respectively. Medal Esports, Aslaa Esports and Gladiators Esports were eliminated in the initial stages without scoring any points.

Day 1 of the event belonged to teams like Orangutan, Celsius Esports and Enigma Gaming. Few seasoned teams like Gladiators Esports and Team Soul were able to perform in glimpses and will hope to make a comeback on Day 2.
