Reckoning Esports Shines on Day 1 of Upthrust Esports BGMI Challengers Showdown Redemption Week

Day 1 of Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGMI) Challengers Showdown Redemption Week has concluded with seasoned squads dominating the event. The upcoming squad of Reckoning Esports was the most consistent team on Day 1 of the event. Experienced teams like Carnival Gaming, Team Tamilas, Entity Gaming and Revenant Esports also showed consistent performances on Day 1 of the Redemption Week. 

The Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 event will see 32 teams competing across four weeks.

Reckoning Esports showcases aggressive gameplay on Day 1 of Redemption Week

The upcoming squad of Reckoning Esports was the most consistent team on Day 1 of the event and was placed at the top of the table. The team’s aggressive performance helped it grab a total of 58 points along with 2 chicken dinners, 37 of which came via finishes. 

Harsh “Immortal” Shrivastava and Kaif were the star performers for Reckoning Esports with 13 and 12 finishes respectively.

Another upcoming team, Team Psyche, was placed second with 36 points and 1 chicken dinner. Team Tamilas continued its good run in the 2024 BGMI season and scored 32 points, 22 of which came via finishes. 4king Esports placed fourth and got 30 points with 1 chicken dinner. Entity Gaming placed fifth and got 28 points. Revenant Esports placed sixth and secured 27 points along with 1 chicken dinner. Redzone Esports showed aggressive gameplay and scored 27 points, 20 of which came via finishes. Alibaba Raiders placed eighth and got 23 points.

Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Redemption Week Day 1 Points Table:

A few seasoned teams like Orangutan, Team XSpark, Team 8Bit and Team Aaru could not put forth consistent performances and were placed in the second half of the points table. Three of the most experienced teams, iQOO Soul, Godlike Esports and Team Destro, who have dominated the 2024 BGMI season, placed in the bottom of the points table and will now have only 6 matches to grab a place directly in the Semi Finals.
