Level Infinite, the global gaming brand under Tencent, has entered a partnership with the Esports World Cup Foundation to drive the PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings (HoK) esports ecosystems forward. The 3-year partnership will open opportunities for talent across all facets of the industry, from gamers and content creators to production professionals and more, underscoring the commitment to nurturing the future of gaming and esports. Over 1,000 esports events shall also be held for PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings in 2024, providing a competitive field for aspiring pro players to showcase their skills and make a name for themselves. 

PUBG Mobile and HoK esports scene set to expand following Level Infinite and Esports World Cup Foundation partnership

In an ambitious move poised to reshape the esports landscape, PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings, two flagship titles in the Battle Royale and MOBA genres, are set to undergo a global expansion in collaboration with the Esports World Cup Foundation.

Underlining this partnership is a commitment to hosting over 1,000 esports events worldwide for PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings in 2024. These events will serve as platforms for players of all skill levels to showcase their prowess, while Level Infinite and the Esports World Cup Foundation work diligently to optimize the player experience, fostering a competitive and player-centric environment.

As a part of this collaboration, PUBG Mobile will unveil the all-new PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC), featuring an unprecedented $3 million USD prize pool for competing teams alongside the coveted world champion title. This event builds upon the success of the previous PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI), serving as the premier summer event with a performance-led team selection process aimed at fostering the highest level of competition.

Additionally, the inaugural Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason Esports World Cup will witness 12 elite teams from around the world vying for a $3 million prize pool. This event sets the stage for the Honor of Kings Invitational Championship later this year, where participants will compete for glory and renown.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region emerges as a pivotal player in the global esports arena, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia establishing itself as an international esports hub. Noteworthy gaming events in Riyadh have drawn over 1.4 million visitors, highlighting the region's burgeoning interest in esports. The inaugural Esports World Cup, slated to take place this summer in Riyadh, promises to be a monumental occasion, culminating in the crowning of the first-ever Esports World Cup Club Champion.
