Pokemon UNITE added three new Held Items in the game to shake up the meta for the Patch 1.2 update. The three new Held Items - Choice Specs, Razor Claw, and Weakness Policy can be acquired by purchasing them in the in-game shop for either the common currency, 1,000 Aeos Coins, or the premium currency, 625 Aeos Tickets. The three items have varying stat boosts that can fit into a lot of playstyles and can be upgraded to provide even more bonus stats. When equipped these new Held Items in Pokémon UNITE also have unique abilities that players can use to their advantage.
Three new Held Items added in Pokemon UNITE to add more diverse playstyles
Held Items are unique equipment that enhance your Pokémon’s stats in a match. These items also provide a unique passive ability that can be beneficial to the player depending on their playstyle or role in the game. Each Held Item can be upgraded, using various resources in the game, to boosts its level and improves its effectiveness.
Held Items can make a huge impact in a match when paired with the right Battle Items and may prove advantages to players utilizing them to their fullest potential.
Here are the three new Held Items in Pokemon UNITE and their unique effects;
Choice Specs
Increases the damage of moves by a minimum of (40/50/60) when it hits. Additionally, provides a damage boost that scales based on 21% of the Pokémon’s Special (SP) Attack.
Base Stats
Level 10: SP Attack + 19
Level 20: SP Attack + 29
Level 30: SP Attack + 39
Razor Claw
After the Pokemon uses a move, its next basic attack deals a minimum of (10/15/20) damage. Additionally, provides a damage boost that scales with 0.5% of the Pokémon’s damage. When this item is held by a melee Pokemon, this basic attack also decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokemon for a short time.
Base Stats
Level 10: Attack + 5, Critical - Hit Rate +1.1%
Level 20: Attack + 10, Critical - Hit Rate +1.6%
Level 30: Attack + 15, Critical - Hit Rate +2.1%
Weakness Policy
Increases the Pokemon's Attack for a short time by a minimum of (2/2.5/3)% when the Pokémon receives damage. This increase grows larger the more times damage is received.
Base Stats
Level 10: HP 110, Attack +5
Level 20: HP 160, Attack +10
Level 30: HP 210, Attack +15
