Blacklist International continues its win streaks in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10. After a brief delay due to technical difficulties, the match series saw the Code Breakers made quick work of Bren Esports with a solid 2-0 clean sweep victory. The M3 World Champions remained at the top spot of the regular season leaderboards with three wins and no losses in its standing. Through a post-match press conference, Blacklist International’s iconic shotcaller Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna expressed his concerns regarding the delayed matches which resulted in live viewers staying way too late at the venue than expected.

Blacklist International’s journey to reclaim the crown is going quite smoothly as it sits at the top of the leaderboard.

The renowned Filipino Sniper Kiel "OHEB" Calvin Soriano led the Code Breaks to successful skirmishes from the first to the second game. The carefully placed skillshots by Salic “Hadji” Imam’ Xavier and Pharsa gave no room for escape from Bren Esports.

The team’s star jungler Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario also flexed his skills in using Balmond in the first game and a surprising Benedetta pick in the second game.

Bren Esports was completely overwhelmed by the continued aggression by Blacklist International. The series ended with a smooth-sailing 2-0 victory for the Code Breakers.

OhMyV33NUS hopes the match delays would be minimized

The match between Blacklist International and Bren Esports was delayed for quite some time due to a technical issue that occurred during the previous match between ECHO and Omega Esports. This resulted in some fans who are looking forward to the final match of the day to stay longer than they expected.

While the Queen of Blacklist International OhMyV33NUS is thankful for the overwhelming support from the fans, the pro player thinks the match delays need to be minimized.

“I’m so proud and happy that there are fans who support us but at the same time I feel bad for them,” said the iconic shotcaller.

The final match of the MPL PH Season 10 Week 1 Day 2 was scheduled for 8:00 PM (PHT) but due to technical difficulties, the match was delayed to 10:30 PM (PHT). OhMyV33NUS thinks these delays may endanger the fans who are staying late just to see the matches live in the venue.

“Most matches of Blacklist International are on 8:00 PM so [the live viewers] head home very late so I feel bad for them, especially these times where it’s not safe outside,” the pro player stated. “Hopefully next time, the schedule would be on time not only for us but also for the fans of Blacklist.”

Blacklist International will return on the third week for a match against ONIC PH on 26th August at 6:00 PM (PHT). Bren Esports will have to find a way to recover from its losing streak as it faces RSG PH on 27th August at 4:00 PM (PHT).
