Brazilian esports organization, Netshoes Miners, announced its entry into the Wild Rift esports scene.

One of the prominent esports organizations of Brazil, Netshoes Miners, announced its entry into League of Legends: Wild Rift. The team will be participating in the upcoming Wild Tour Brazil (WTB) 2022 Season 1, the official Wild Rift esports circuit for the region. Netshoes Miners will acquire the position left by the team Só Agradece in WTB 2022 Season 1. Netshoes Miners holds teams from various esports titles such as League of Legends PC, Free Fire, and FIFA.

While the team is still quite new to the Wild Rift esports scene, Netshoes Miners has had an active presence in the League of Legends PC esports scene in Brazil since 2015 where they debuted as E-SportFlix.

Netshoes Miners announces its Wild Rift team roster

Following the rising popularity of Wild Rift in Brazil and the announcement of its upcoming esports circuit, the WTB 2022 Season 1, a new contender announced its venture into the competitive scene. This was revealed through the official Twitter page of Netshoes Miners.

The team is composed of the following members;

  • Xem - Baron Lane

  • Raiiku - Jungle Lane

  • KoZy- Mid Lane

  • Fusion - Dragon Lane

  • vilao1. - Support

The Executive Director of Netshoes Miners, Danielle Maiolini, believes that the team’s entry into the Wild Rift esports scene in Brazil will greatly benefit both his team and the growth of the esports scene in the region.

“The new team will add even more interaction and affinity with the Brazilian gamer community, which is growing more and more in the country,” stated Danielle Maiolini, as quoted by Jovemnerd.com.

Wild Tour Brazil 2022 Season 1 will commence soon

The upcoming WTB 2022 Season 1 will kick off with its group stage on 18th Feb. 12 teams will be divided into two groups where the top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs stage. The dominant team that takes the championship title in the WTB 2022 Season 1 will earn the right to participate in the upcoming Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.

The tournament was originally planned to take place at a physical location in São Paulo, Brazil, but due to the new wave of COVID-19 cases in the region, the tournament has been shifted to an online format. Needless to say, fans can still tune in to the action as the WTB 2022 Season 1 will be broadcasted live on the official YouTube Channel of Wild Rift Brazil.
