MPL PH has added a new rule in the nomination process.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL-PH) shall once against open its doors for another Hall of Legends inductee for Season 12. This prestigious honor recognizes the outstanding contributions of players, coaches, and talents in the local professional Mobile Legends esports scene.

This season, the MPL PH Hall of Legends shall open its nomination with a whole new set of rules for the selection process. The nomination is currently ongoing and various iconic names in the Mobile Legends community shall stand a chance to have their names engraved among the legendary personalities.

How to join the MPL PH Hall of Legends nomination process

From now until 5th October 2023, the MPL PH community, active athletes, coaches, team owners, talents, MOONTON Games, and the MPL PH Press Corps are invited to send in their nominations. To officially submit an entry, fans can take to Facebook, TikTok, or X (formerly Twitter) to post their status, videos, or photos. They should also provide a heartfelt explanation of why their nominee deserves a place in MPL Philippines' elite circle while using the hashtag #MPLHallOfLegends.

Social media engagement will play a significant role in the selection process. The top ten personalities with the highest volume of mentions across various platforms during the campaign period will receive corresponding points. These points will be combined with the votes from the MPL-PH voting committee, ensuring a fair and balanced selection process.

Much like last year, the league has outlined three pillars – Strength, Contribution, and Legacy – on which the voting community can base their nominations. The "Strength" attribute considers the nominee's remarkable gaming performance or skill. "Contribution" reflects what they have shared with the MPL or MLBB esports scene and culture. Lastly, "Legacy" encapsulates the nominee's overall impact throughout their MPL career.

The culmination of this exciting journey will be the MPL Hall of Legends awarding ceremony, set to take place during the MPL Philippines Playoffs scheduled from 25th - 29th October 2023. This event promises to be a thrilling celebration of esports excellence and the enduring legacy of the inductee.

The MPL-PH Hall of Legends represents the pinnacle of recognition in the Philippines' MLBB esports scene. It is an elite group composed of MLBB esports personalities who have made a remarkable impact in the league and whose achievements have significantly contributed to the overall advancement of MLBB esports in the Philippines.

Among the inaugural inductees were iconic figures such as Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog, Setsuna “Dogie” Ignacio, Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna, and the esteemed RSG PH coach Brian “Panda” Lim. Others included Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel, Christian "Rafflesia" Fajura, Carlito "Ribo" Jr., Danerie "Wise" Rosario, and Jeniel "YellyHaze" Bata-Anon. In recognition of his vital role, Manjean "Manjean" Faldas was awarded the honorary distinction of being the "Voice" of MPL Philippines.

Last season, the spotlight fell on Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap, who joined this illustrious group of legends, and the anticipation is building to see who will join the Hall of Legends this season.
