The two remaining matches for Week 7 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10 have been postponed due to Typhoon Karding. The remaining matches for the said week were RSG PH vs Nexplay EVOS and Blacklist International vs ECHO. This decision was made to ensure the safety of the players, staff, and the live audience. The new schedule for the Week 7 Day 3 matches is yet to be revealed. While the playoff teams have already been finalized, with TNC Pro Team and Nexplay EVOS eliminated, the upcoming matches will determine the final upper and lower bracket seeding for the qualified teams.
MPL PH Season 7, 25th September matches postponed due to typhoon
The official Facebook page of MPL PH announced that it will be moving the matches on 25th September to a later date due to the tropical typhoon in the Philippines.
“We are officially postponing the matches scheduled tomorrow, 25 September 2022, due to tropical cyclone 'Karding' rapidly intensifying* into a typhoon while crossing through Central or Northern Luzon,” the post captioned.
Only two matches remain for Week 7 of the tournament. However, to ensure the safety of everyone involved, the league committee has decided to move the matches to an unspecified date.
“For the safety of our fans, players, and staff - the remaining Week 7 matches will be rescheduled to a later date,” captioned the MPL PH.
The Playoffs slots have already been filled. However, the upper and lower bracket seeds are yet to be finalized. Blacklist International and ECHO are looking to keep their upper bracket spot by earning more points. RSG PH, on the other hand, is looking to climb higher and clutch an upper seed by beating Nexplay EVOS in the postponed match.
