The regular season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) Season 9, has officially concluded. The six qualified teams are now preparing for the much-awaited playoffs stage where they will be competing for the championship title and the lion’s share of the $300,000 USD prize pool. The top two teams from the playoffs will also secure a ticket to the upcoming Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2022 (MSC 2022). The bottom two teams from the regular season - Rebellion Zion and Geek Fam are officially eliminated from the tournament and will have to try again in the next season.

Playoffs Schedule and Tournament Format

The MPL ID Season 9 Playoffs will officially kick off on 21st April. Matches will be played in a BO5 series with the grand finals having a BO7 match between the finalists.

Teams who finished third to sixth place in the regular season will be competing in the first round. The first and second place teams will skip the first round and start competing in the second round.
