The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia (MPL ID) Season 11 is fast approaching. While the exact release date is yet to be revealed, teams have already finalized their rosters for the upcoming season. The eight franchise teams will compete in the tournament for the privilege of representing Indonesia in the upcoming Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023 set to be held sometime in June. The defending champion, ONIC Esports may face tougher challenges in the upcoming MPL ID Season 11. Aura Fire is the only team that did not make any changes to its player roster but it did sign a new coach.
Full rosters of MPL ID Season 11 Teams
ONIC Esports
ONIC Esports is the defending champion for this season and is considered one of the powerhouse squads in Indonesia. Since the team’s acquisition of its Filipino imports Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol and coach Paul "Yeb" Miranda, the squad made significant improvements in its performance in tournaments. With the former RRQ coach Adi "Acil" Asyauri joining the roster, the squad may be preparing something for the upcoming MPL ID Season 11.
RRQ (Formerly RRQ Hoshi)
The renowned King of Kings is back with a new member from Bigetron Alpha. Deven "RENBO" Markos is the latest addition to the squad. The pro player was playing under Bigetron Alpha since MPL ID Season 6 before joining RRQ. With a new multi-role pro player in its arsenal, RRQ aims to reclaim the championship title in the upcoming league season.
Aura Fire
Aura Fire will participate in the MPL ID Season 11 without any roster change. However, the squad did sign a new coach and analyst to guide the squad in the upcoming league season.
Bigetron Alpha
The squad recently acquired the former Bren Esports coach and analyst Paulo "Pauloxpert" Munsayac. The squad also fielded some of its talents from its Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) roster. It will be interesting to see how the team performs in Season 11, given its recent resurgence in the previous league season.
Alter Ego
Since its victory in the ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2020, the squad has been struggling to find its momentum in tournaments. Two of its iconic veterans Julian "LeoMurphy" Murphy and Ahmad "Ahmad" Abdurrahman have decided to skip the MPL ID Season 11. In exchange, new players have been signed to fortify its roster.
Rebellion Zion
Rebellion Zion is one of the teams that has struggled to find a winning chemistry. The squad is always at the bottom of the rankings despite its attempts to improve its roster. For the upcoming league season, Rebellion Zion has signed three new players to its roster in hopes of finding the team chemistry it needs to dominate.
EVOS Legends
The squad will be competing in the upcoming tournament without its iconic coach Bjorn "Zeys" Ong. Some veteran players will also be making a comeback to the roster. It’s Filipino import Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera was also revealed to be part of the roster but as a content creator.
Geek Slate (Former Geek Fam ID)
Geek Slate is one of the teams that showed a promising performance in previous tournaments. In partnership with Slate Esports, Geek Fam rebranded its ID team to form Geek Slate. The squad also loaned the Bigetron Alpha talent Matthew "Matt" Geraldo to play in the upcoming season.
With the team rosters locked in for the upcoming MPL ID Season 11, it will be interesting to see who claims the championship title this season and who shall secure a slot for the upcoming MSC 2023.
