The M4 World Champion ECHO has officially confirmed Chou as the team’s chosen hero to receive the next esports team-branded skin in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The decision was previously revealed by the team during a post-match press conference after defeating Blacklist International in the grand finals of the M4 World Championship. However, it was not until recently that MOONTON Games, the publisher behind the hit mobile esports title, officially confirmed that it shall collaborate with the esports organization to discuss the details of the in-game commemorative skin. The exact release date of the upcoming M4 World Championship ECHO Chou skin is yet to be revealed.

ECHO Chou to be released as the fourth M-World Championship skin

As confirmed by MOONTON, Chou will be the very first fighter hero to receive a skin from a world champion. The M4 ECHO Chou skin is set to be released sometime in September 2023.

ECHO won the M4 World Championship.

"The team has unanimously decided to develop a skin for Chou. Apart from it being the hero that almost all of our team members use, it has also played a big part in our team's success in the tournament. We're excited and glad to work with MOONTON Games who has been attentive and collaborative when it comes to our ideas," stated Mitch Liwanag, ECHO’s country manager.

Since the very first MLBB world series event, every winning team has had a say in which hero they want to have as a skin, that is designed based on their preference. EVOS Legends Harith was released after the M1 World Championship, Bren Esports Lancelot after M2, and Blacklist International Estes for M3.

"We hope our fans are as excited as we are to see the new skin. Afterall, we dedicate the skin to Orcas who have been with us through the years," stated Karl Gabriel "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, ECHO’s star jungler.

Harith was chosen by Indonesia's EVOS Legends in 2019. Meanwhile, after winning M2 and M3, the Philippines' Bren Esports chose Lancelot and Blacklist International designed Estes.

MOONTON Games and ECHO are currently in talks to discuss the details of the in-game commemorative skin. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
