Mongolian team, Positive Gaming, looking to acquire a former MPL PH veteran
Through a Facebook post on 10th August, the Mongolian esports team, Positive Gaming, announced that it is looking to acquire a former MPL PH star.
In the post, the team captioned, “A Filipino player who played 5 consecutive seasons in the MPL or Mobile Legends Professional League will join our team. More information will be posted soon.”
According to the post, the upcoming pro player has played in the MPL PH league for at least five seasons. There are a lot of potential candidates but most fans from the comment section speculate that it may be the former RSG PH star player Joshwell Christian "Iy4knu" Manaog.
The pro player has competed in the MPL PH for exactly five seasons from Season 4 to Season 8. Iy4knu started under Dream High Gaming before the team was acquired by ONIC PH. The pro player then joined RSG PH for the MPL PH Season 8. Iy4knu skipped Season 9, where RSG PH finally grabbed its first championship title, before eventually leaving the team.
However, Positive Gaming Mongolia is yet to confirm its acquisition so take this information with a grain of salt. For now, fans should keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
