The highly anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Project NEXT update titled “NEXT FOR YOU” has been officially announced. The update was revealed during the MSC 2023 tournament. The Mobile Legends Project NEXT update will introduce a host of new features designed to enhance the gameplay experience for enthusiasts and competitive players. Various quality-of-life improvements shall also be implemented in the game which will make navigation and hero build customization easier for everyone. The NEXT FOR YOU update in Mobile Legends will officially kick off on 27th June bringing new in-game mechanics and features such as a revamped Emblem System, new Ranked Mode tier, and much more.

New Emblem System
One of the most notable additions is the revamped emblem system, allowing players to customize emblem sets for each hero. This innovation enables gamers to choose their preferred talent attributes for their heroes, encouraging diverse gameplay strategies. Previously, players could only assign one emblem system per hero, but the new process simplifies the system while retaining the interactive upgrading process. Furthermore, purchasing emblems will no longer require Battle Points (BP), which can now be allocated towards acquiring heroes instead. Additional details regarding the emblem system overhaul will be shared at a later date.
New Ranked Tier “Mythical Triumph”
Another major highlight of the update is the introduction of a new ranking system. The pinnacle of achievement in Mobile Legends has shifted from Mythical Glory to the new rank of Mythical Triumph. With nine ranks in total, players now have more opportunities to climb the ladder and compete against professional-level players from around the world. The goal is to master various heroes and prove their skills in the next season by reaching the top of the leaderboards.
New Mobile Legends Lore Update for Eruditio and Ixia
Furthermore, Mobile Legends enthusiasts can look forward to immersing themselves in the captivating lore of Eruditio & Ixia. Eruditio, known as the city of scholars in the Land of Dawn, will offer a brand-new story and lore experience starting from 1 July. The upgraded user interface (UI) adopts an elegant blue and purple tone, mirroring the bustling sci-fi metropolis that welcomes heroes from the Land of Dawn. In September 2023, a revamped UI and map layout will be launched, allowing players to create their own highlights and stories in Eruditio.
New Mobile Legends Hero Ixia
Marksmen players will be thrilled with the introduction of a new character named Ixia. Initially labeled as a Sand Hunter from the Agelta Drylands, Ixia defied stereotypes by forging her own path and identity. Through her adventures in Eruditio and her encounter with Layla, Ixia shed her bitterness and resolved to achieve greatness without limitations. Players are encouraged to embrace their unique identities and seek inspiration from friends and teammates to reach their 'NEXT' level of play.
Layla’s Workshop
In a bid to involve the community in shaping the future of Mobile Legends, MOONTON Games has introduced Layla's Workshop. This platform provides players with an opportunity to share feedback and co-create with the developers by proposing major update ideas. Through a voting process, the proposed changes with the majority of player support will be implemented, allowing gamers to actively participate in the game's evolution.
