ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies Inc., has announced a groundbreaking partnership with MOONTON Games to further elevate the competitive landscape of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). This collaboration marks a significant milestone as the title shall be integrated into the Snapdragon Pro Series, the world’s largest multi-title mobile esports league. With a staggering total prize pool of USD $780,000 USD, this partnership aims to introduce MLBB to new regions and demographics, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
Mobile Legends to be a part of 2024 Snapdragon Pro Series event
As part of the agreement, MLBB will be featured as a Mobile Masters title for Year 3 of the Snapdragon Pro Series, offering top international competitors the opportunity to vie for up to USD $200,000 USD in prize money. This inclusion solidifies the title’s position as a cornerstone of the mobile esports scene, further propelled by flagship events such as the M6 World Championship and the MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2024.
Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games, emphasized the significance of expanding the MLBB esports ecosystem, stating, “With MLBB Esports having already begun taking root in the mainstream, our focus is on expanding our ecosystem to be even more inclusive and accessible.”
Additionally, the Snapdragon Pro Series will introduce an all-new MLBB women’s league in Southeast Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Africa, with the aim of fostering inclusivity and providing a platform for aspiring female gamers to showcase their talents.
