When BloodThirstyKings’ (BTK) team captain Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun showed interest in visiting Nexplay EVOS’ (NXPE) bootcamp, the team’s coach Setsuna "Dogie" Ignacio was quite unenthusiastic about it. Dogie went on to make fun of MobaZane’s lack of hero pool and stated that he doesn’t care whether the BTK captain pays them a visit or not. Through a livestream, MobaZane expressed his reluctance in visiting the NXPE bootcamp as he thinks Dogie seemed uninterested in the plan. He also showed interest in reacting to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 Playoffs but is afraid that he’ll be in trouble for streaming the tournament without permission from the league.
MobaZane reluctant to visit NXPE Bootcamp after Dogie’s hot take
NXPE’s coach, Dogie is widely known for his sarcastic attitude. While long-term fans are used to his demeanor, some fans who are not quite familiar with Dogie have taken his statements regarding MobaZane negatively.
When the BTK captain asked if he could visit the NXPE bootcamp, Dogie responded by saying that he didn't mind. However, he said MobaZane would have to travel all by himself so he could experience the heavy traffic that Manila, Philippines is well known for. Dogie then proceeded to take a shot at MobaZane for only being efficient at using marksman heroes which may have offended a few fans.
MobaZane then responded to this statement through one of his livestreams saying that he may not push through with the plans of visiting the NXPE Bootcamp.
“I’ll go if he wants me to go… and when [his] message to me was like ‘I don’t care,’ with that attitude, I wouldn’t really want to go,” the BTK captain stated.
Contrary to Dogie’s statements, MobaZane has been adjusting to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) meta in the Philippines and has been seen using a lot of tanks and assassins. On a separate livestream, he jokingly expressed his hatred for the meta by saying he would ban the tank meta in MLBB if he becomes the president of the Philippines.
While he is still upset that he can’t use his previous marksman-centered playstyle, he has slowly expanded his hero pool.
MobaZane is known for his very specific mastery of marksman heroes as a jungler. With the sudden shift in meta, MobaZane is now trying to expand his hero pool by playing with and against the top-performing MLBB pro players in the Philippines and gaining feedback from them in the process.
