The legendary BloodThirstyKings (BTK) shall be making a comeback in the upcoming 2023 North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) Spring Season. One of its original members Michael "MobaZane" Cosgun announced in a livestream that he is rebuilding the team with new members. This decision was made following the departure of most of The Valley players.

The 2023 NACT Spring Season open qualifiers event is set to kickoff on 5th March where registered teams, including BTK, will compete for a slot in the tournament’s regular season. The crowned champion in the tournament shall earn a ticket to the prestigious Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023.

Legendary BTK returns for 2023 NACT Spring Season

BTK is one of the most iconic North American (NA) teams in the MLBB esports scene. The squad shocked the fans with its resurgence, which saw the NA team sending the powerhouse team of the Philippines, Blacklist International down to the lower bracket playoffs stage. Its legacy abruptly came to a halt when the squad decided to part ways with most of its members joining The Valley.

However, according to its team captain, MobaZane, BTK is coming back but with a fresh new roster. Through a livestream, the NA star player explained the reason for The Valley disbanding.

“Basic went to go play with Hoon, which is pretty surprising to me,” said MobaZane.

Peter "Basic" Lozano, Jang "Hoon" Seong-hun, and Oscar "SHARK" Vo joined a new team called TheOhioBrothers along with the former Nexplay EVOS talent Rainiel "URESHIII" Logronio.

Meanwhile, Ian "FwydChickn" Hohl stated that he is not interested in qualifying for the upcoming MSC 2023. The pro player is looking to try out for non-NA teams and experience an official Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) event.

MobaZane shared the roster for his revamped BTK squad. The team is composed of him, LORDTEA, Yato, Theo, and Yoonaqt. The team has been registered and has been placed in the fourth seed of the qualifiers stage, as revealed on the official registration portal of the 2023 NACT Spring Season.

It will be interesting to see how the revamped BTK squad performs in the upcoming tournament.
