MobaZane claims that BTK would have performed its best during the M2 World Championship if NA was invited to compete.
NA was not part of the invited regions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to MobaZane, M4 was the worst performance for his team in the MLBB esports scene.

The Valley’s seasoned jungler, Michael "MobaZane" Cosgun, discussed the possibility of his former team, Blood Thirsty Kings (BTK) dominating the M1 and M2 World Championships if it participated. According to the star jungler, M2 would have been the best time for BTK to compete on the international stage of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The meta during that time revolved around marksman heroes as junglers, a playstyle that MobaZane specializes in. He also compared his team’s performance during its runs in world series events, claiming that The Valley’s M4 run was the worst compared to BTK’s 3rd-place finish in the M3 World Championship.

MobaZane thinks BTK would have been dominant in M2 World Championship

Through a livestream, MobaZane shared how his former squad BTK would have been able to perform better during the M2 World Championship if North America (NA) was given a chance to compete in the tournament.

“M2 would have been the best because that was when marksmen were the meta and you could actually go marksman jungle,” he explained.

“M1, I wasn’t playing the game.. M2 probably would have been the best year for NA,” the star jungler added.

According to MobaZane, BTK would have performed better during M2 mainly because it was when marksmen were the most powerful and versatile heroes before the meta shifted to tank junglers.

“M2 would have been better than M3… I’ve talked about that, Chicken agrees with that, Carti agrees with that,” he said. “It was pretty much peak BTK, I think.”

According to him, M2 would have been the best tournament for BTK, followed by M3 in the middle, and M4 is the worst for him as a member of The Valley.

MobaZane explained that North America was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic was so bad that the region did not get a slot for the M2 World Championship.

While NA missed the second world series event, it was able to showcase its impressive performance in the subsequent global tournaments thanks to its hardworking talents who made efforts despite the lack of support from any esports organizations. Following this, the region received support from Moonton with its first official league, the North America Development League (NDL).
