Omega Eports is yet to reveal its full roster for the upcoming MPL season.

Omega Esports has announced its new addition to the team’s lineup in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10. Deomark "Mikko" Tabangay will serve as the team’s new Tank Roamer. This was announced through the esports organization’s official social media handles. The pro player was the first to be enlisted for the esports organization’s Omega Academy program, where he was trained to be a top-tier pro-player. Mikko also served as the coach for Omega Esports’ all-female squad which won three championship titles under his guidance. The esports organization is yet to officially announce its complete MPL PH Season 10 roster.

Omega Esports signs Mikko as the new Tank Roamer in case Ch4knu decides to take a break

One of Omega Esports’ most iconic Tank Roamers, Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog, previously revealed that if the team’s veteran Mid Laner Patrick "E2MAX" James Caidic leaves the team then he would leave as well.

“If E2MAX quits, I would also quit. That’s how loyal I am to my team,” he said.

According to Ch4knu, he and E2MAX are the only original Execration members remaining and actively competing under the same team. While Z4pnu is also a part of the Omega Esports squad, he rarely plays competitively and is only acting as the face of the team and as a substitute player.

Ch4knu added he still has a lot to prove before stepping down. “Imagine this, you leave the MPL without reaching Worlds (MLBB World Championship), you still have a lot you need to achieve but you’re quitting… You shouldn’t quit if you haven’t achieved those,” said the Omega Esports roamer.

Through one of Z4pnu’s vlogs, he explains that Mikko shall be joining the team as a replacement for the team’s star Roamer in case he chooses to take a break.

“We’re trying out Mikko as our Pos5 (Position 5/Roamer) if Ch4knu doesn’t want to play,” stated Z4pnu.

Omega Esports is yet to announce whether Ch4knu shall be playing in the upcoming season or not. However, even if the tank specialist does play, Mikko would be a big asset for the team and add variety to its strategies and team compositions.

Omega Esports officially announced that Mikko has been signed as part of the MPL PH Season 10 squad through a Facebook post on 9th July. In the post, the esports organization captioned “After a year of training with the pros, he’s finally ready to take the center stage and represent Barangay Omega.”

Fans who followed the all-female squad Omega Empress would be familiar with the team’s new addition to its MPL squad. As a former coach, Mikko shall now prove himself in the pro scene as a Tank Specialist in the upcoming season.
