M4 World Championship venue confirmed

The location for the upcoming M4 World Championship was one of the most discussed topics in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) community. It was not until 20th August that Moonton officially announced the venue for the upcoming major event.

According to a video posted on the official YouTube channel of MLBB Esports, the M4 World Championship will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The tournament will also feature an $800,000 USD prize pool, similar to the previous world series event.

This will be the first time that Indonesia will host the biggest MLBB esports event. Last year, Singapore had the honor of hosting the M2 and M3 World Championships.

The video also revealed a few details about the upcoming event. A total of 16 teams shall be participating from the following regions - Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Myanmar, Turkey, North America, Latin America (LATAM), Brazil, and the Mekong. Moonton is yet to reveal how many teams will be able to represent each region. Representatives will be decided through regional qualifiers for each region, including MPL tournaments.

The M4 World Championship will be held next year and shall take place from 1st Jan until 15th Jan 2023. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more announcements regarding the upcoming world series event.
