M4 World Championship Changes Venue Due to Safety Concerns

The M4 World Championship venue has been moved to another location due to safety concerns. The venue for the world series tournament has been divided into two separate locations. The M4 World Championship Group Stage will be held in Bali United Studio while the Knockout Stage and Grand Finals will be held in Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Indonesia. The schedules for the tournament remain the same and will not change. Due to the venue changes, the seating capacity for the Knockout Stage venue was also reduced. Some ticket holders will have their purchase refunded and will also receive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Diamonds as compensation. 

M4 World Championship venue moved to two separate locations

Amidst the hype surrounding the upcoming M4 World Championship, the official Mobile Legends Esports page has announced that its venue for the tournament has been moved.

“The M4 World Championship is now less than a month away, with preparations for the international tournament moving along. However, a recent unfortunate incident came to our attention concerning the XO Hall, a well-loved venue by many MPL ID fans,” captioned the post.

The event is now divided into two locations; 

• Group Stage (1st - 4th January 2023): 11, Jl. Duri Utama Raya No.43, RW.7, Duri Kepa, Kec. Kb. Jeruk, Kota Jakarta Barat, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 11510, Indonesia

• Knockout and Grand Finals (7th - 15th January 2023): Jl. Pintu Satu Senayan No.B, RT.1/RW.3, Gelora, Kecamatan Tanah Abang, Kota Jakarta Pusat, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 10270, Indonesia

Due to the sudden shift in venue, the seating capacity was also reduced, resulting in some ticket holders getting a refund. Only those who purchased a ticket for the knockout stage shall be affected by this change.

Impacted Knockout Stage ticket holders will be issued 250 MLBB diamonds as compensation on top of the refund by the official ticketing partner, Blibli.
