Godlike Esports being one of the fan favorite teams in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has not been able to impress its fans with its recent performance in Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 2023 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023.

Kronten shares his thoughts on Godlike Esports making changes in its BGMI lineup
In a recent live stream of Yash “Lolzzz” Thacker, Kronten was seen answering a few queries of the fans regarding the changes in Godlike Esports’ BGMI lineup. One of the fans asked Kronten about some leaks regarding the changes in the BGMI lineup to which he responded by saying, “I can’t tell you anything for now. But I can say that the people who are getting negative or spreading hate regarding Godlike Esports let them be.
Everyone at Godlike Esports is like a family and it will be like that till the end. I have come to know that people have now started talking behind my back about a few of the members from Godlike Esports. Me, Jonathan, Ghatak and the players are going on a break and will be relaxing for the next couple of days.”
Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar, an esports athlete for Godlike Esports’ BGMI lineup recently had talked about the performance of the team and whether or not he will be part of the organization moving forward and said that fans would not be able to see him play from Godlike Esports in the future for some time.
The move from Godlike Esports to make changes in its BGMI lineup came after it was eliminated from BGMS 2023 Season 2 and BGIS 2023. It had a sub par performance in BGMS 2023 Season 2 whereas it started BGIS 2023 on a promising note and dominated the initial stages, but even there it was later eliminated in Round 3.
In the recently concluded BGMI tournaments Omega Slayers (OS) Invitational and Upthrust Pro Showdown, Godlike Esports was seen playing with different players which can be a sign that the organization has started undertaking tryouts for its lineup. Godlike Esports was also seen playing BGIS 2023 without its regular In Game Leader (IGL) Arjun “Shadow” Mandhalkar.
More details regarding the changes are yet to be revealed. Kronten had said that he will be doing a live stream discussing the issues and revealing more details regarding the changes.
