KRAFTON released its financial report for Q3 2022 yesterday with a statement regarding BGMI.
The publisher mentioned that it is continuing to put in the effort for getting BGMI unbanned.
KRAFTON also mentioned that apart from resuming its services for BGMI, it will continue investing in the Indian games market.

It has been more than three months since Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was blocked by the Indian Government under Section 69A of the IT Act on 28th July.

During the game's continued absence a lot of speculations and rumors have surfaced within the Indian gaming community. Limited transparency and communication about the situation by KRAFTON has further added to this problem.

To instil confidence that it is still working on getting BGMI unbanned, the publisher in its Q3 2022 report has publicly stated that, "KRAFTON is continuing its efforts to resume services for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) and will continue investing in the Indian games market."

KRAFTON delivers a strong message of hope to all BGMI players in its latest quarterly reports

The financial report for July-September 2022 (Q3 2022) was released by KRAFTON yesterday on 11th November - marking it as one of the best quarters for sales for PUBG: Battlegrounds across PC and Consoles.

However, the news that brought actual joy to majority of the Indian mobile gamers was the statement published by KRAFTON towards the end of this report, where it expressed that continued efforts were being made to lift the ban against BGMI.

No particular date or month was specified about BGMI's re-entry in the country, neither was any timeline provided, but a promise was delivered that efforts were being put in to tackle the problem at hand. Additionally, KRAFTON also mentioned that it was still interested in continuing to invest in the Indian games market.

Q3 2022 Financial Report - KRAFTON

There has not been any consistent communication on KRAFTON's end regarding BGMI's ban or steps being taken to sort out the matter. This has resulted in a significant void within the community which has been filled with a lot of speculative information.

This is certainly not the first time that KRAFTON has officially spoken on the matter but statements from it have been few and far apart, often creating cause for concern among the users with regards to the game's future in the country.

The latest statement has surely provided users with a surge of confidence regarding BGMI's potential return, but it still provides no insight regarding how close KRAFTON is in terms of a solution or what may be the issues and challenges that it is up against.
