Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is one of the most popular mobile gaming titles in India and Krafton, in an effort to reach a growing audience, has joined hands with one of the most popular live streaming platforms in India.
In a recent announcement, Krafton revealed that it is joining hands with Jio Cinema to live stream Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. This move will boost the gaming scene in India and will help BGMI reach every corner of the country.
Krafton reveals details about Jio Cinema live streaming BGIS 2023
Krafton has officially partnered with Jio Cinema to live stream its BGIS 2023 event. Fans will be able to enjoy the tournament on Jio Cinema from the final stage of BGIS 2023 The Grind followed by Round 1 of BGIS, which shall be streamed from 31st August. Fans will also be able to watch the Grand Finals of BGIS 2023 which will take place from 12th to 14th October. The matches will be streamed from 1pm to 6pm everyday according to the schedule.
BGIS 2023 is regarded as one of the most competitive battle royale esports tournaments in India. This tournament will see over 2000 teams participating for a massive prize pool of INR 2 Crores, with INR 75 Lakh for the winner. Last year Skylights Gaming staked a claim winning INR 50 Lakh from a massive prize pool of INR 1 Crore.
The collaboration between Krafton India and Jio Cinema promises to captivate gaming enthusiasts nationwide and elevate the gaming experience by reaching millions of viewers through JioCinema's expansive platform. BGIS will feature Hindi and English commentary for all preliminary matches and culminate in a Grand Finale.

BGIS 2023 is the first ever BGIS event which will have a LAN event for the Grand Finals. Over 2000 teams will be participating in BGIS 2023 from the open qualifiers. The massive sum of INR 2 Crores will be something for the teams to lookout for. This is one of the biggest prize pools in the history of mobile esports tournaments in India.
Recently, Krafton had also announced that BGIS 2023 will provide a regional experience to the fans with live streaming set to be done in 10 languages including Hindi and English and 8 other regional languages. This will ensure that the tournament reaches every corner of the country.
