Since the unavailability of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in the country, most of the Indian professional players and teams, including GodLike Esports, have stopped practicing and playing professional Tier-1 BGMI scrims. However, with positive news about the game’s potential return, a few organizations have resumed their daily scrims. In a recent livestream, Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral, a professional player for GodLike Esports, revealed that he would soon start playing Tier-1 scrims and practicing the game with other players.

Godlike Esports starts playing BGMI scrims

In his recent livestream, JONATHAN was playing BGMI with a few other professional players, including Abhishek “ZGOD” Choudhary. During the livestream, he asked his teammates when BGMI scrims would start. Replying to him, ZGOD stated that it would start on the following day. Hearing this, JONATHAN said, “I will start grinding BGMI properly from tomorrow; start playing scrims from tomorrow.” Further, ZGOD added, “All the tier-1 players will start participating in the scrims from tomorrow.” Since the unavailability of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in the country, most of the Indian professional players and teams, including GodLike Esports, have stopped practicing and playing professional Tier-1 BGMI scrims. Previously, Arjun “SHADOW” Mandhalkar revealed that JONATHAN had stopped playing BGMI scrims as he only wanted to play the game seriously. “JONATHAN is currently practicing solo. Once the game returns, he will start practicing with the team. He wants to play serious custom scrims and does not like to play scrims only for fun, and he only wants to play seriously,” he said.

After this livestream, the BGMI team of GodLike Esports was spotted playing Villager Esports’ Tier-1 BGMI Scrims. Many other teams, including TSM FTX India, S8UL Esports, Orangutan Gaming, and more, were also seen playing in the same scrim. Professional BGMI teams and players starting to practice and play professional scrims is another good news for all fans.

Although there is no official announcement from Krafton yet, a lot of positive news about BGMI has emerged from multiple gaming influencers and professional players recently. Furthermore, Harpreet “RonaK” Janjuha, a professional BGMI player, recently claimed that the game would return soon, and it would be accompanied by a LAN event.
