Ex-TSM pro player, Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral was recently spotted in one of Vishal “haiVaan” Sharma’s streams. This came as a surprise to fans because haiVaan is a pro player for GodLike Esports (GodL) and currently resides in GodL’s bootcamp. This immediately caught the attention of fans which set off a discussion about if JONATHAN and the ex-TSM PUBG Mobile roster have been picked up by GodL. Founder of GodL, Chetan “Kronten” Chandgude, later came forward and revealed that the ex-TSM PUBG Mobile squad was indeed at GodL’s bootcamp and stated that it was only temporary.

Ex-TSM PUBG Mobile squad to be picked up by GodLike Esports?

The ex-squad of TSM was one of the best PUBG Mobile squads in India with multiple top-three finishes and tournament wins. After the announcement and release of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in July, TSM, in a shocking move, released the whole squad and picked up a different roster for its BGMI team.

Following this, the ex-TSM squad has not been officially picked up by any organisation, despite reports from GemWire suggesting that the team might be picked up by GodLike Esports.

Kronten’s explanation of the ex-TSM squad’s presence at GodL's bootcamp

After JONATHAN’s appearance on haiVaan’s stream, Kronten issued a statement about the matter on his stream. YouTube channel PhoneOCEAN shows Kronten’s explanation in one of their videos. The founder talked about the reason why the ex-TSM squad is at GodL’s bootcamp. He said that he received a call from Abhijeet Harishchandra "GHATAK" Andhare, one of the members of the ex-TSM roster, where Ghatak asked for a place to stay for the squad. Kronten explained that this was because the bootcamp that Ghatak and the squad were supposed to be in was still under preparation. He also stated that the squad would only stay in GodL’s bootcamp for a day or two.

There have been many rumors and assumptions as to which team the ex-TSM squad will join or play for but there has yet to be an official announcement by any parties. It seems like players will be left to make more guesses and await the eventual announcement.
