Owner of GodLike Esports, Chetan "Kronten" Chandgude has come forward to reveal his new Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) squad ahead of the BGMI Series 2021. The lineup consists of Kronten, Varun "Kiki" Vinod Chauhan, Swapnil "Killerbaba" Kakkar, and Deadshot. This new squad was announced on 15th July by Kronten via his Instagram story, just a few hours after Krafton released information about the first-ever BGMI esports tournament. This lineup may not be affiliated to GodLike and could be a temporary stack with whom Kronten might be competing in the upcoming BGMI tournaments. At the time of writing this article, no official BGMI lineup has been announced by GodLike.

Kronten Announces New BGMI Squad

Kronten has come forward to announce the new BGMI lineup just hours after Krafton released complete information about the first-ever competitive BGMI tournament, 'Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021'.

With the registrations of the open tournament having started from 19th July 2021, interested BGMI teams are getting ready and preparing for the hustle that lies ahead. Kronten also seems to be excited to compete in this tournament as he has come forward to announce this stack for the first one.

Kronten's New BGMI Lineup

This may not be GodLike's official BGMI lineup, with no official announcement being made by the organization. AFK Gaming has reached out to GodLike Esports to confirm the same from the organization, but so far we have received no response.

GodLike's previous roster consisted of the core of Shekhar "Smxkie" Patil, Syed "Rayed" Shah, and Taha "Aladin" Khamkar. GodLike Esports announced that it was parting ways with its former PUBG Mobile roster on 26th June 2021. Calling this a "minor setback", they reiterated that their goal remains to be the number one esports organization in India, promising to return once again stronger than before.

When the previous GodLike roster had disbanded, the community was quite shocked as BGMI had already launched in the country. Reports from Gemwire speculated that the former TSM PUBG Mobile roster would be joining GodLike Esports.

These speculations started gaining steam when former TSM Entity manager, Sid Joshi stated that TSM’s former lineup and him are both no longer part of the organization.

Statement Previously Made by Sid Joshi

With the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 right around the corner, it will be interesting to see what other BGMI teams announce their complete rosters, moving ahead.
