Indian COD Mobile player Learn shortlisted for 'Mobile Player of the Year' by Esports Awards 2021
The 21-year-old COD Mobile star from India, Learn, has been shortlisted as one of the 10 final nominees by Esports Awards 2021 under the category of 'Mobile Player of the Year'. He is only the second Indian to have been featured as a finalist at the Esports Awards after popular streamer and professional BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) player Naman "MortaL" Sandeep Mathur.
MortaL has been nominated as a finalist three times at the Esports Awards, under two different categories in 2020 - 'Streamer of the Year' and 'Mobile Esports Player of the Year', and then again in 2021 - 'Streamer of the Year'. However, this is the first time that Learn will be making it into the final round of public voting.
Learn is the captain of the South Asian esports organization TeamIND's COD Mobile roster, who also operate a BGMI lineup within India. TeamIND has been competing with the same CODM team since March 2021. Learn led them to victories at various tournaments like CODM World Championship 2021 - SA & ME Finals and QSEC - Grand Final Championship, among other smaller events.
Before joining TeamIND, Learn had played for other organizations like Aesthetics X and Team Mayhem. His rise to fame was marked following his victory at Call Of Duty: Mobile India Cup - Pro which he had won along with Team Mayhem in early 2021.
