iFlicks reveals that Chemin Esports was disbanded after elimination from BGIS 2023 and BGMS 2023 Season 2.
iFlicks also said that the lineup was picked only to compete in BGMS 2023 Season 2 and BGIS 2023.

Chemin Esports is one of the esports organizations known to pick up and nurture young talents. Several well known players like Sahil “Omega” Jakhar, Akshat “Akshat” Goel, Ammar “Destro” Khan and Parth “DeltaPG” Garg have previously been part of its Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) roster.

In a recent live stream, Nishant “iFlicks” Murlidahran revealed that Chemin Esports had disbanded its BGMI lineup following its elimination from Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) 2023 Season 2 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023.

iFlicks talks about why Chemin Esports was disbanded

Chemin Esports competed in the recently concluded BGMS 2023 Season 2 and BGIS 2023. It dominated the initial stage of BGMS Season 2 but was unable to qualify for the Grand Finals and placed 20th in the overall standings. The team was also crowned the champion of BGIS 2023 The Grind but was eliminated in further rounds and was eventually eliminated from the BGIS 2023 main event.

In a recent live stream, iFlicks revealed why Chemin Esports was disbanded and said that, “Chemin Esports was disbanded because it failed to qualify for BGMS 2023 Season 2 and BGIS 2023. It was not a main lineup but the players were picked just to compete in those events. It was a new lineup and the players practiced for a month and Chemin Esports had a slot in BGMS 2023 Season 2 so they played there but were not able to perform and hence the lineup was disbanded”.

Chemin Esports had picked up a lineup consisting of the players “Kaalan”, “Shadow” and “Afu” from Obey Esports and Aravind “Spyop” Menon from Blind Esports. The lineup showed potential for most of the part in the events but was unable to perform at crucial stages.

There are no further updates as to where the released players will be going or whether Chemin Esports will pick another lineup, but with so many upcoming BGMI tournaments in the future, Chemin Esports may soon announce a new BGMI roster.
