BGIS 2023 Round 4 Day 2: Qualified Teams, Match Summary and More
Underdog teams made a comeback on Day 2 Round 4 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. A good mix of aggressive and position based gameplay helped these upcoming teams give tough fights to experienced teams.
Seasoned teams like Team Soul, Blind Esports and Gladiator Esports dominated Day 2 of BGIS 2023 Round 4. Some of the experienced teams like Velocity Gaming, Team X Spark and Hyderabad Hydras were not able to put forth a good performance and did not grab a spot in the Semi Finals.
BGIS 2023 Round 4 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel (Group B): AutoBotz Esports secured the first chicken dinner of the day with 27 points and 12 finish points. Team X Spark made a comeback to secure the second place with 19 points. Blind Esports continued its good run and got 18 total points including a massive 14 finish points. Road To Glory also had a good game and secured 16 points for its efforts.
Match 2 Miramar (Group B): Blind Esports clinched the chicken dinner in the second match of the day. It showed good rotations and team work and earned 24 points. GlitchxReborn had a good mix of finish and placement points and secured 23 points. Team X Spark had back to back good games securing 18 points. Gladiator Esports and Hyderabad Hydras got 11 points each.
Match 3 Sanhok (Group B): GlitchxReborn got the chicken dinner with 20 points in the last match of the day for this group. Although GlitchxReborn took the chicken dinner, Gladiator Esports secured the most points from the game. It was able to get 23 points in total. 4 TroubleMaker And Team Psyche made a comeback and earned 18 points each. Blind Esports continued its momentum and grabbed 15 points.

Match 4 Vikendi (Group A): Team Soul continued its momentum from Day 1 and grabbed a massive 31 point chicken dinner including 16 finish points. Akshat “Akshat” Goel was the star performer for the side with 7 finishes. WSB Gaming was placed second with 19 points. MICI Esports and Spy Esports made a comeback and secured 16 and 12 points, respectively. Night Owls and Nade Officials were eliminated early with zero points.
Match 5 Miramar (Group A): Night Owls secured the second chicken dinner of the day for this group. It was able to secure 29 total points. WSB Gaming continued its good run and secured 21 points. Team Soul again had a good game and grabbed 16 points. Nade Official and BR Vintage got 13 and 10 points respectively. Crosskill Esports took a drop clash with Team Soul and was eliminated early with zero points.
Match 6 Erangel (Group A): Team Soul secured its second chicken dinner of the day. The team lost Naman “Neyo” in the initial stage but the rest of the three players showed good teamwork and grabbed 21 points. Infamous Hackers took the most points from the match with 23 total points. MICI Esports and MetalWing Esports secured 14 points each. Team Fly Esports was not able to showcase its abilities and was eliminated with 1 point.

Experienced teams like Velocity Gaming, Team X Spark and Hyderabad Hydras were not able to grab a place in the Semi Finals. These teams along with the teams ranked from the 5th to 16th spot will proceed to play the Losers Bracket. Fans are hoping the seasoned squads will make a comeback in the Losers Bracket and grab a slot in the Semi Finals.
