Female Thailand esports pro player, Chareeny “Ramella” Ramella, expressed her concerns regarding Duane "Kelra" Pillas’s unprofessional behavior. Following the ongoing issue regarding Kelra's homophobic comments, another issue involving him has surfaced in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community. A short video clip has begun circulating where Kelra is seen mentioning sexual remarks on Ramella. The Thai pro player stated her concerns and explained that this issue is one of the reasons why there are only a few female pro players in the esports industry. Both Ramella and her organization, IDONOTSLEEP (IDNS) Esports are currently investigating the issue. Ramella is yet to receive any formal apology from the Omega Esports pro player, Kelra.

IDNS Esports pro player Ramella calls out Kelra for his unprofessional behavior

Ramella is an esports player for the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2017 champions, IDNS Esports, and is the first female pro player to participate in a major Mobile Legends esports event, the MSC 2021.

Following the recent controversy regarding Kelra’s homophobic comments towards Blacklist International’s dynamic duo, Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and James “Wise” Del Rosario, another issue emerged. A short clip of Kelra expressing sexual remarks on Ramella began circulating online.

Ramella expressed her concerns on her official Facebook page, asking if sexual harassment is normal in the Philippines. Despite the punishments that Kelra received, the female pro player does not feel any reassurance.

“Is sexual harassment acceptable policy of his team? Or is it an okay thing to do in the Philippines?” stated Ramella.

IDNS Esports also responded to the issue and is actively investigating the issue with the help of Moonton.

“Sexual harassment is not ok. And should NEVER be okay. Doing nothing about it is also NOT okay,” stated IDNS Esports.

Due to this incident, Ramella posted on her Facebook page that she will be taking a break from Mobile Legends professional esports.

“I will not be active in tournaments for a while as my team and I agree that this has proven it is not safe for female esports players,” stated Ramella

Kelra's comments on OhMyV33nus and Wise landed him a 14-day suspension from the MPL PH Season 8 Regular Season along with an undisclosed fine due to a violation of rule 12.3.3. "Sexual Harassment" and rule 12.3.4. "Discrimination and Denigration." The pro player’s team, Omega Esports, stated that the organization will take necessary steps to ensure respect and professionalism above all among its pro players. However, Ramella is yet to receive an apology statement from Kelra.
