Hyderabad Hydras announce BMPS 2023 lineup with ex 8Bit and Velocity Gaming players
The team has added some young talents in the form of ex 8Bit player Dhruv “Madman” Gaur and ex Velocity Gaming player Krishh “Octavius”. Hyderabad Hydras had recently bid farewell to Humanoid from its BGMI lineup but have reintroduced him for BMPS 2023.
The roster consists of the following players:
Gaurav “Jokertopg” Joshi.
Vaibhav “Humanoid” Kashyap.
Bopedope.
Dhruv “Madman” Gaur.
Krishh “Octavius”.
Mohammed “Zhyrx” Shuaib.
Talking about the BMPS 2023 lineup, Hyderabad Hydras coach Nishant “iFlicks” Murlidharan shared his thoughts in a video and said, “We initially had plans to bring Gill in the roster but it could not happen. So for the replacement I talked to Goldy about 8Bit players and he said that yes the players from 8Bit are allowed to look for opportunities for BMPS 2023. So we went with Madman for our BMPS 2023 roster.”
He also revealed why Humanoid was brought back into the roster and said, “We had to bring back Humanoid for BMPS 2023 because of the new rules laid down by Krafton. If we wanted to retain our slot for BMPS 2023 we had to have our core from previous events. He has just been retained in the team, we will not see him playing in the team.”
iFlicks also talked about the addition of Zhyrx Gaming and how he is going to dominate events in the future. He said, “Zhyrx has the ability to become one of the most aggressive players in times to come. He can replicate what other big players have been able to do.”
Hyderabad Hydras had decent performances in recent BGMI events. The team was invited to Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 The Grind and it showed its best performance in this event as it placed third. It was not able to continue the same performance in the BGIS 2023 main event where it was eliminated from the Quarter Finals.
It will be interesting to see what the lineup has to offer in BMPS 2023 as it has a good mix of young and talented players alongside seasoned players.
