The Honor of Kings (HoK) Invitational Midseason has been officially unveiled featuring a massive $3 million USD prize pool. The tournament shall be hosted in partnership with the Esports World Cup (EWC) and is set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this summer. The Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason shall feature weeks of action-packed matches between 12 competing teams from around the world vying for the championship title and the lion’s share of the prize pool. This shall serve as a platform for both veterans and rising stars to showcase their skills on the grand stage.

The Honor of Kings (HoK) Invitational Midseason is only one of the few mobile esports titles featured in the upcoming EWC event. The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Sesaon Cup (MSC) 2024 shall also be held alongside the event, offering viewers a ton of exciting competitions to tune in.

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Level Infinite and Esports World Cup Foundation have announced that HoK, the esteemed mobile MOBA sensation, will make its mark at the upcoming world series event set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Kicking off this August 2024, The Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason shall feature 12 elite teams from across the globe vie for glory and the staggering $3 million USD prize pool. 

Leading the charge is none other than China’s powerhouse, the KPL Dream Team, hailing from the revered King Pro League, setting the bar sky-high for the competition. As anticipation mounts, additional teams will be unveiled, offering rising stars the chance to shine on esports' grandest stage.

James Yang, Senior Director of Level Infinite Global Esports Center, Tencent Games, expressed his excitement, stating, “The Esports World Cup is an exciting and unique opportunity to bring international esports recognition to the world’s most played mobile MOBA title. This momentous announcement follows Tencent’s recent unveiling of the Global Invitational Series, a testament to their unwavering dedication to the HoK esports ecosystem. The series, slated to kick off in March 2024, sets the stage for an exhilarating journey:

  • The Honor of Kings Invitational Season 1 shall Feature 12 formidable teams competing for a $300,000 USD prize pool and a coveted slot in Season 2.

  • The top teams from Season 2 shall advance to the HoK Invitational Midseason in the Esports World Cup.

  • The winner of the Mid Season event shall compete in the pinnacle event, the Invitational Championship where the victory in the World Series event shall be crowned this year’s world champion.

Moreover, on 21st February 2024, Honor of Kings will make its debut in new regions, including the Middle East, North Africa, Türkiye, Eastern Europe, and South Asia, heralding a new era of global competition.
